It was a time when people used to place Guwahati in one of the most dangerous places in India. Only due to the abnormal, insane activities of some of the foolish groups, who call themselves heroes, Guwahati was a place of real threat for outsiders. With time came various reforms and policies of Governments, which, to the relief of Guwahati has reduced these unlawful incidents to a greater extent. It is very unfortunate that such incidents do take place even in our modern days. It is very important for us to take some initiative to stop these major incidents, which prove very fatal for the life of the people in the city. Thus, Royal Group of Institutions, one of the top and leading institutions in North-East India has taken a step towards achieving this milestone. Through the annual cultural fest of the institution, Consensio,  which is held annually in the month of January, the institution intends to spread a message of peace and harmony to all the people. The techno-cultural fest which is scheduled to be held from the 22^nd -24^th January’14, the theme of which is “Peace and Harmony” intends to spread the very message within the people of the North-East and beyond. The literary part of the fest will be held in the month of October, slated on the 29^th -31^st.Quizzes, debates and various other competitions are planned for the literary part of the event, which also includes some attractive prizes. Also, for the students and other participants who would be welcomed for the events, the responsibility for their hospitality will be in the hands of able members, who would be available in case of any enquiry. So, do not waste any time. Pack your knowledge within you, and come to the Royal Group of Institutions, which is situated in the picturesque background of the Balaji Temples, and have an amazing time during the wonderful event.
